I've been in New York for a week, and whenever my relatives asked me where I wanted to go I told them "Nintendo World!" They didn't quite understand why I wanted to go to a store, so my mom and I finally hopped on a train and spent a good chunk of the day there. As soon as I passed through the doors I turned into a 5-year-old and I probably embarrassed my mom. The first thing I did was run straight to the Pokemon Center!
As you can tell from the first photo, there were so many plushies! I wanted to buy just one for myself since they're $15 a piece, so I instantly knew I wanted Tympole since he's my favorite Unova pokemon! I got a Vanillite for my sister. It was so cute when my mom was looking at the dolls. The first one she notices is Munchlax. She picks him up and says "Aww, this one is cute!" and she cradles him. The funny part is that Snorlax is her favorite Pokemon, so when I explained to her what Munchlax was, she carried him around with her and ended up buying him!
There were larger dolls of the Johto/Unova legendaries. hehehe i couldn't help but play with them.
And, as expected, Pikachu was EVERYWHERE!
Most of the other merchandise were Mario-related, and there was a splash of Kirby and Zelda. There were so many cute items *o*
I loved the Kirby merch! So cute, especially the Waddle Dee!
The absolute cutest thing I saw were these Yoshi's Island baby clothes. I was so shocked, I couldn't believe it! Hopefully they still make these by the time I'm a parent. Yoshi's Island is one of my top SNES games!
Aside from all of the things to buy, there is also a mini museum of Nintendo history. It's very interesting to see how vast of a company Nintendo is!
This piece was the coolest thing to see in person.
Out of all the stuff I've seen in the store, the thing that made my day was this model Mario Kart car of Princess Peach driving the Wild Wing, which is the character & car I use when I play!
I can't wait to display her in my room, heehee
That's pretty much it from my Nintendo World adventure. I bought some goodies for my family and played tons of demo games, aaaand I Street Passed a zillion people on the 3DS. And my mom had fun, too!
Nintendo World never disappoints.
